Service Command

Privacy Policy

Effective August 26, 2026. This policy explains how Service Command handles information when businesses and their customers use the platform.

1. Information we process

Service Command may process account information, business profile data, customer and prospect records, estimates, jobs, invoices, payment records, technician information, service addresses, uploaded documents and photos, support requests, device and usage information, and other information users choose to enter into the service.

When location-enabled field features are used, technician location information may be processed to support dispatch, arrival verification, routing, and field operations. Location collection depends on device permissions and the company’s use of those features.

2. Why we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain and improve Service Command; authenticate users; operate scheduling, dispatch, communications, field workflows, customer portals, reporting and integrations; process support requests; prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations.

3. Business customer responsibility

Businesses using Service Command control the customer, employee and job information they place in their workspace. Each business is responsible for having appropriate permission and legal authority to collect, use, message, store and otherwise process that information, including location, phone, email and customer records.

4. Service providers and integrations

Service Command may use infrastructure and third-party providers to deliver features such as hosting, email, payments, phone/SMS, accounting, electronic signatures, maps and other integrations. Information is shared with those providers only as reasonably necessary to provide the requested feature and is also subject to the provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

Third-party provider accounts, fees and compliance obligations may be separate from the Service Command subscription.

5. Payments

Service Command is not intended to store full payment-card numbers entered by customers. Online card processing is handled by supported payment providers. Businesses may record that a payment occurred by card, cash, check, ACH or another method without storing card credentials in Service Command.

6. Communications

Businesses may use Service Command to send operational email or text messages such as appointment confirmations, reminders, technician updates, invoice notices and other service communications. The business is responsible for obtaining any consent required by law and honoring opt-out requirements that apply to its communications.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting account credentials, assigning appropriate roles and promptly removing access that is no longer needed.

8. Retention and deletion

Information may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, security, legal, fraud-prevention and legitimate business purposes. Workspace owners can export company data and submit a deletion request from Business Settings. Some information may be retained when required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

9. Your choices

Users can update many business and customer records inside the workspace. Device location permissions can be controlled through the device or browser. Workspace owners can use the data controls in Business Settings to export company data or request account deletion.

10. Children

Service Command is a business software service and is not directed to children under 13. Businesses should not intentionally use the service to collect children’s personal information unless they have a lawful business need and all required permissions.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material updates may be communicated through the application or other reasonable means. The effective date above identifies the current version.

12. Questions

For privacy or account questions, use the Service Command Support page. Signed-in workspace owners can also submit a support or account request from the application.
